This blog is my skill set diary that is partially based on the solid evidenced based practice of ( Marsha Linehan’s) DBT, general therapy sessions, and information that strives for a more peaceful life. I have been actively practicing these skills in one form or another since 2006. This blog is not a replacement for DBT or therapy. I have my own order and writings that are based on personal notes taken in therapy, class and learning from DBT and my many years of Wellness interest.
My focus is mental and emotional wellness and I plan to post a couple times per week.
Years ago I graduated with a Wellness degree focusing on Exercise, Alternative Wellness, and Stress. Shortly after college, life gave me a blessing in the disguise of a serious mood disorder. I was offered therapy and classes including my beloved DBT. Circumstances have now come full circle allowing me to share my wellness skill set with others while deepening my own learning.
